It has been a fun and exciting challenge choosing a winning design for my logo contest at 99designs. In total there were 52 entries, with three designers submitting the most entries. I reviewed their designs, rated them and provided feedback - a change of colour, more detail, change the font, make it bold, don't make it bold, etc. The designers were accomdating with each suggestion. Sometimes, what I thought would look good in my mind didn't always translate so well in the actual design. It was helpful to see the suggested changes along with the original logo.
By Day 5 of the contest, I had narrowed my choices down to one logo from each of three designers. Then, I polled my family, friends and colleagues to vote on their favourite logo design. It was helpful reading their comments about what they liked and didn't like about the logos and the variations.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote. Thanks to the graphic designers who submitted entries.
Now the moment we all have been waiting for...
The winner is...
