Family Tree 365
I've been thinking about doing a variation of the 365 project that incorporates my family tree. What if I researched and posted on 365 of my ancestors?
Kinda crazy, eh?
It's unrealistic to think I could profile 365 ancestors in a year. Really, I wouldn't do a good job. However, if I concentrate on the ancestors and not the time frame, it seems to be manageable. Not only I have established a really long term goal for myself (one ancestor a week for 7 years!), I now have a plan that helps me research and blog about my ancestors. My plan is to use the Ahnantefal Numbering System. It allows me to keep the couples in my family together, and move through my different family lines in an organized, progressive manner.
Will I accomplish this goal? I don't know. I'm not even sure I have 365 ancestors direct line ancestors named on my pedigree chart. But that's the fun and challenge of this project. Besides, if I don't try, then I'll never know.
It's time to get started.
What are you doing in your family tree?
