This week's Genealogy with a Canadian Twist free webinar is a virtual Halloween party. With us all being stuck at home, and Halloween festivities being cancelled, I thought we could all get together and have our own party - virtually.
I've got my costume ready and my Halloween treats planned. Our panelists are in the final stages of their preparations. We'll be discussing the origins of Halloween, and the history of Halloween in Canada. Some things we'll be looking at include the origins of the holiday, the history of jack o'lanterns, costumes, candy and trick or treating. Did I mention body snatchers?
